Vrenelie D. Flores at professor Jigszel Divine Basoy ang kauna-unahang
public service nitong nakaraang Nov. 16- 17, 2015 na inorganisa ng University of
the Philippines na ginanap sa Lahug, Cebu City.
Sa naturang conference, inilahad ng mga
kinatawan ng pamantasan ang mga mahahalagang extension projects na ginagawa ng
ibat- ibang kolehiyo sa mga komunidad.
Sa kategoryang “Improving Governance and Law
Enforcement through information and Communication Technology, iprinisenta ni
Prof. Eugene G. Ranjo ang USM extension program ang enhance Barangay Governance
through Information and Communication Technology.
Sa Agriculture Development naman inilahad ni
Dr. Elizabeth Molina ang University of Southern Mindanao’s support to high
value crop Production.
Sa kategoryang community health and
nutrition naman, iprinisenta ni Prof. Jigzcel Divine Basoy ang extension
project ng College of Human Ecology and Food Sciences, ang knowledge and
practices enhancement for Barangay scholars Kabacan, Cotabato.
